StarChem are one of the world's largest manufacturers of Tack Cloths, having had 26
years of experience.
Our Tack Cloths have the following properties:-
- Non-drying resin is used so they never dry out
- The edges are sealed to trap loose fibres
- They are available in many different types of packaging
Tack Cloths are available in several different varieties including:
- Normal (unbleached) cloth
- Bleached cloth
- Standard size (18" x 32" 45cm x 90cm)
- Double size (36" x 32" 90cm x 90cm)
- Individually packed
- Bulk packs (e.g. 50 cloths in one pack, not individual packs)
In addition to these types, we can also supply own-branded tack cloths for quantities
in excess of 60,000 pieces. This is subject to additional charges for origination. Also,
we can produce different sizes for large order quantities.

COMMON APPLICATIONS
- Normal and lightweight MB-10, TD-50, SSI-18 and SSI-36 are most commonly sold by motor
factors to car body shops in the U.K.
- European customers prefer bleached varieties, normally in the form of SSI-18B.
- SSB-18, SSB-36 and SXI-36 are often used in commercial vehicle bodyshops.
- R-50 is normally used as barrier curtaining to contain dust.
- AQ-10 is used where minimal resin transfer is
critical
