PAINT STRAINERS
StarChem supply several types of paint strainer:

CONICAL PAPER STRAINERS
These strainers offer the following features:-
- The paper has a high resistance to solvents and water
- They are suitable for solvent and water based paints
- The filter extends to the tip of the strainer, so all paint is filtered
- Nylon mesh is available for the most demanding jobs

SPRAYGUN STRAINERS
NYLON "COTTON REEL" STRAINERS
- Made from nylon for a low-cost solution.
- These strainers fit on the suction pipe of a spraygun.
- Using a 120 micron mesh, most particles are filtered out, preventing the spraygun becoming blocked.
- Available in two sizes (standard and small) to suit almost all sprayguns.

IN-LINE SPRAYGUN STRAINERS
- Also known as "witches hats" because of their appearance.
- These strainers fit in the suction pipe of the spraygun.
- Made from phosphor-bronze, which has a high resistance to attack from components in the paint.
- Supplied with a retaining spring-clip for a secure fit.

BEAKER STRAINERS
These are premium strainers for the most important refinish jobs. They are shaped like a tea cup. However, the bottom of the "cup" is a filtering mesh.
- Available with 60, 90 and 150 micron meshes for super-fine filtration
- Made from nylon
- Essential for critical applications
